A Passive structure is a building in which “a comfortable interior climate can be maintained without active heating and cooling systems” (Adamson 1987 and Feist 1988). A Passive House heats and cools itself, hence the word “passive”, and coupled with renewables is categorized as NetZero. Our Passive Houses are built to international Passive House Standards.
Net-Zero - A Zero Energy Building (ZEB), also known as a Net Zero Energy (NZE) building, or a Zero Net Energy (ZNE) building, is a building with net zero energy consumption, meaning the total amount of energy used by the building on an annual basis is equal to the amount of renewable energy created on the site or in other definitions by renewable energy sources offsite, using technology such as heat pumps, high-efficiency windows and insulation, and solar panels.
We also offer a wide range of supporting technical, planning, and deployment services for EV Charging, Helical Piles, Energy Audit, Community Infrastructure, Project Management, and Business Development.
